Honest comparison

Triple Whale vs WeltPixel Conversion Tracking

These are not the same product. Triple Whale is an attribution and analytics platform with an AI operator on top, and it owns a good pixel; we sell conversion delivery and nothing else. What the two share is a pixel, server-side conversion delivery, and a price. Their meter is your annual GMV: $219 a month under $250,000 and $2,529 at $15 to $20 million, with no published band below our flat $39. Buy Triple Whale for the dashboards and the attribution modelling. Buy us if you just need conversions to arrive.

WeltPixelvsTriple Whale
Triple Whale's Foundation plan across the nine annual-GMV bands its pricing page publishes, verified August 24, 2026, prices excluding tax. Their Automate plan runs higher again, $749 to $4,199 over the same bands. Above $20 million of annual GMV the page publishes no price at all.

What this page compares, and what it doesn't

Triple Whale sells a lot that we do not sell at all. Putting a $219 plan next to a $39 plan is only fair if the scope is stated first, so here it is.

Not compared: the platform they actually sell

We publish no equivalent to any of this, and this page makes no argument about it.

  • Multi-touch attribution, Total Impact Attribution, seven attribution models and five lookback windows
  • The BI layer: 50+ dashboard templates, a no-code builder, a SQL editor, custom metrics, cohorts, creative, profit and inventory analysis, peer benchmarks
  • Moby, their AI operator, which schedules work and acts inside ad accounts
  • Compass: marketing mix modelling, geo-lift and conversion-lift incrementality testing
  • Post-purchase surveys, AI-visibility tracking, Amazon ingest, warehouse export, a mobile app, and budget and bid controls

Compared: pixel, server-side delivery, price

Three things the two products genuinely share, which is where the rest of this page stays.

  • A first-party pixel on the storefront. Theirs is the Triple Pixel; ours runs browser events that respect Shopify's Customer Privacy API signals
  • Server-side conversion delivery. Theirs is Sonar Optimize, included from Foundation and not on the free plan; ours goes to GA4, Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, Reddit, OpenAI ads and Pinterest ads, plus Klaviyo for email and SMS
  • What a store pays to have tracking work. Their meter is annual GMV; ours is $39 a month at every size

Sources: triplewhale.com/pricing and both apps' Shopify App Store listings, August 24, 2026. Triple Whale prices are USD excluding tax; the band figures come from the pricing page's own price table. Annual prepaid is ten times the monthly rate and locks your GMV tier for the year. Always confirm current pricing before purchasing.

What would you pay at your GMV?

Drag the slider to your store's annual GMV, the figure Triple Whale's own pricing page asks you to declare. Their number is the Foundation band you land in. Ours is $39 whatever you grow into.

WeltPixel Conversion Tracking$39/mo
Triple Whale (Foundation at this band)$549/mo$1M–$2.5M band
A year of Foundation at this band is $6,588 billed monthly, or $5,490 prepaid on a 12-month commitment. A year of WeltPixel is $468.

Triple Whale figures are the Foundation prices published on triplewhale.com/pricing, read from the page's own price table on August 24, 2026, excluding tax. Automate costs more again at every band. Above $20 million of annual GMV their page stops publishing a price.

The four differences that matter

The meter is your whole topline

Most tools in this field meter orders, events or sessions. Triple Whale meters annual GMV, which you declare on a slider on their pricing page. A store doing $2 million on 500 high-value orders a month and a store doing $2 million on 40,000 small ones both pay $549. Nothing you do to the tracking changes the bill; only growth does. Ours is $39 in both cases.

No published band costs less than $39

Their cheapest paid plan is $219, which is 5.6 times our flat price at the smallest band and 64.8 times at $15 to $20 million. Their free plan really is free and really does include the Triple Pixel, so a very small store can track first and last-click attribution at $0 forever. What the free plan does not include is Sonar, and Sonar is the server-side half. On their ladder, server-side conversion delivery starts at $219 a month.

The App Store listing shows the floor band

Their Shopify listing prints Foundation at $219/mo and Automate at $749/mo with no annual-GMV qualifier anywhere on it. Across the nine published bands Foundation actually runs $219 to $2,529, an 11.55x spread. A merchant doing $3 million a year shortlists at $219 and is quoted $799, which is 3.65 times the listed figure. The annual numbers on the listing, $2,190 and $7,490, reconcile exactly to the lowest band at ten times the monthly rate, which is how you can tell the listing is showing one band only.

The ladder moved this year, upward

We read the price arrays inside their own pricing page on March 6 and again on August 24, 2026. In between, the $149 Starter rung was deleted, so the cheapest paid plan went from $149 to $219 at the smallest band, up 47%, and rose 14% to 65% at every other band. "Advanced" became "Foundation" at numerically identical prices. The top self-serve plan rose 45% to 80%. And the published-price ceiling fell from around $50 million of annual GMV to around $20 million, so three bands that carried public prices in March are quote-only now. Date any claim about what their cheapest plan costs, including this one.

Where Triple Whale is the better fit

A comparison you can trust has to cut both ways, and here it has to cut hard. Triple Whale sells categories of product we do not sell. If any of these five is what you are shopping for, buy it and ignore the price argument above.

You want the attribution product, not the pipe

Multi-touch attribution, Total Impact Attribution blended with post-purchase survey data, seven models and five lookback windows. If your decisions turn on which touchpoint got credit, we are not the tool and we do not pretend to be.

You want one dashboard for the whole business

Ad spend, Amazon, subscriptions, shipping costs, profit, inventory, cohorts, LTV, creative performance and peer benchmarks in one place, with a SQL editor underneath. We publish no equivalent to any part of that.

You want an AI operator rather than a report

Moby schedules work, watches spend and acts inside ad accounts within guardrails. Whatever you make of the category, it is a real feature set and we have nothing in it.

You need marketing mix modelling or incrementality testing

Compass runs geo-lift and conversion-lift studies and reconciles them against multi-touch attribution. For a brand big enough to need a finance-defensible measurement layer, that is the thing you are buying.

You are a small store and want free tracking with attribution

Their free plan includes the Triple Pixel and first and last-click attribution at $0 with no order cap and no revenue qualifier, which for a store under $250,000 a year is a genuinely good offer. Our free Discovery plan is GA4 only, up to 100 orders a month. The line to watch is server-side delivery: theirs starts at $219, ours is in the $39 plan.

Triple Whale vs WeltPixel, asked directly

How much does Triple Whale cost?

Triple Whale prices on annual GMV. Its Foundation plan runs $219 a month under $250,000 of annual GMV and $2,529 a month at $15 to $20 million; Automate runs $749 to $4,199 across the same nine bands. Above $20 million of annual GMV the page publishes no price and says talk to sales. Prices exclude tax, and the published rates are for 12-month subscriptions (published prices, verified August 24, 2026).

Does Triple Whale have a free plan?

Yes, a real one. It is $0 with no revenue qualifier and includes the Triple Pixel, first and last-click attribution, 10 users and 12-month data retention. Multi-touch attribution and Sonar, their server-side conversion product, are not on it; both start on Foundation, which is $219 a month at the smallest band (verified August 24, 2026).

Does Triple Whale send server-side conversions?

Yes, through Sonar Optimize. Their published description of it reads "Optimize Meta performance with enriched first-party customer and conversion data via conversion API integrations", so the platform their description names is Meta. Sonar is included on every paid package and is not on the free plan, which puts the cheapest route to their server-side delivery at $219 a month. WeltPixel sends server-side conversions to GA4, Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, Reddit, OpenAI ads and Pinterest ads, plus Klaviyo, on the $39 plan (verified August 24, 2026).

Is Triple Whale cheaper than WeltPixel at any size?

Not on any published band. Triple Whale's cheapest paid plan is $219 a month at under $250,000 annual GMV, which is 5.6 times our flat $39, and $2,529 at $15 to $20 million, which is 64.8 times. Their free plan is $0 and genuinely free, but it carries no server-side conversion-API delivery (published prices, 2026-08-24).

What does Triple Whale do that WeltPixel doesn't?

A great deal. Multi-touch attribution with seven models and five lookback windows, more than 50 dashboard templates with a SQL editor under them, creative and profit analysis, post-purchase surveys, Moby their AI operator, and Compass for marketing mix modelling and incrementality testing. We publish no equivalent to any of it. WeltPixel sells conversion delivery: browser and server-side events to eight destinations, for $39 flat.
