Which platforms does WeltPixel support?
WeltPixel supports three major analytics platforms: Google Analytics 4, Meta Conversions API (for Facebook & Instagram ads), and TikTok Events API. All three use server-side tracking, which means your conversion data is sent from Shopify's servers — not the browser — so ad blockers can't block it.
Why not just use theme-based or client-side tracking?
Client-side tracking (via themes or GTM) misses 20-30% of conversions due to ad blockers, iOS privacy settings, and browser restrictions. Server-side tracking bypasses all of this because events fire from Shopify's servers, not the user's browser.
Does this work with cookie consent banners?
Yes! WeltPixel fully supports Google Consent Mode v2. When a user declines cookies, we still send privacy-safe pings to GA4 so you can use conversion modeling. Works with popular CMPs like OneTrust, Cookiebot, and Shopify's built-in consent.
Will this affect my site speed?
No. Server-side events don't add any load to your storefront — they happen on the server after the user action. Our minimal client-side code is optimized for performance. Most merchants see zero impact on Core Web Vitals.
Can I use this alongside my existing GA4/Meta/TikTok setup?

How do I verify that tracking is working?
Use GA4 DebugView to see events in real-time as they're triggered. For Meta, check the Events Manager Test Events tab. For TikTok, use the Events Manager to verify incoming events. Our app includes a verification step in the setup wizard.
Do I need Google Tag Manager?
No. WeltPixel works independently and doesn't require GTM. However, if you already use GTM, our tracking works alongside it without conflicts.
