This section offers full control over product search results displayed by ajax search box.Show/hide product image in search results with full control over product image size in the dropdown results list.
Show/hide product price in the dropdown results list. If a promotion is enabled, the discounted price will show here. Once the promotion is over, the normal price will show.
Show/hide product description in search results with control over the maximum number of words displayed for product description in the dropdown results list.
Set the minimum number of characters to activate the ajax search. Set the maximum number of items displayed in the dropdown list.

With the Magento 2 Ajax Search Autocomplete extension, you'll be able to display Popular Searches, Categories and Products in the Search Results.Show Product Results, Popular Suggestions or both. Set the maximum number of popular suggestions displayed. If not set, all the results will be displayed.

In our experience, there are generally two types of site navigators: clickers and searchers. Searchers want to see instant results. The default Magento 2 elasticsearch is accurate and quick but falls short from a UX standpoint. We want our customers who prefer to navigate by "search" to begin typing and instantly see our products. The Welt Pixel M2 Ajax Search Autocomplete extension does just that. And, we were able to customize it to make it blend seamlessly into our theme. We're happy!
